Special Assemblies
At Sunbeam School, special assemblies are moments when our students take the stage to learn, express, and celebrate together. These assemblies bring learning to life as we explore important days, values, and themes through songs, skits, dance, and creative presentations. They help students share ideas, build confidence, and understand the world around them—making every assembly a joyful and meaningful experience.
National Sports Day Assembly
Sports instill in us perseverance, teamwork, and the importance of staying active—both physically and mentally.
On the occasion of National Sports Day, Sunbeam School, Mughalsarai, paid a heartfelt tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, fondly known as The Wizard of Hockey” and one of India’s greatest sporting legends.
A Special Assembly was organized for Classes VI to XII to celebrate his remarkable life, legacy, and inspiring journey. The event featured an engaging Sports Quiz that tested students’ knowledge about Indian sports and celebrated sportspersons. The enthusiastic participation and lively spirit truly reflected the essence of sportsmanship, teamwork, and learning at Sunbeam.

Earth Day Assembly – Our Little Champions in Action!
Our young environmental champions from Classes III, IV, and V celebrated Earth Day with creativity, awareness, and enthusiasm. The special assembly featured heartfelt songs and a thought-provoking skit titled “Earth’s Cry for Help,” reminding everyone that every small action can make a big difference.
Students also took an Earth Day Pledge to plant trees, reduce plastic use, and care for the planet every day. Adding to the joy, achievers from the Spell Bee and Hindustan Olympiad were also felicitated, making it a day of pride and celebration for all.
Together, our students proved that change truly begins with young hearts and small steps!
SAMANVAYA – Labour Day: Honouring Our Helping Hands
Sunbeam School, Mughalsarai, celebrated Labour Day with heartfelt gratitude and respect for the unsung heroes who make our school a better place every day — the support staff, cleaners, gardeners, and helpers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
Through a moving nukkad natak (street play), students beautifully portrayed the dignity of labour and the importance of appreciating every hand that contributes to our growth and success. The assembly served as a reminder that no work is small and that every effort adds value to our community.
The day ended with students expressing their love and thanks to the school’s support staff — our everyday heroes who inspire us to stay humble, work hard, and always show gratitude.
