01/05/2023 - May Day celebration
The support staff, and transport staff of the school were felicitated on the occasion of May Day for their relentless contribution throughout the year. The students of class XII E recited a heart touching poem followed by a short skit on excerpts from the movie Munnabhai MBBS. There were also fun riddles and quizzes for the staff, with a few goodies as rewards.
Further, the audience enjoyed a performance by Music teacher Vijay sir, on the song Mera Joota hai Japani. The staff members were presented with gifts through students, as a token of gratitude for their involvement all around.
26/07/2023 - Kargil Vijay Diwas
The Special Assembly by class IX C was a tribute on Kargil Vijay Diwas where the students paid their respect to the martyrs of our country through a stirring poem followed by a living newspaper performance, revisiting the period of Kargil war. This helped to acquaint the audience with the happenings of The Kargil War and contribution of our heroes from the forces.
01/09/2023 - Sanskrit Diwas
In order to observe and review the importance of the Sanskrit language, Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated during the assembly, by students of classes VII - IX.
The celebration started with a speech on the importance of the language, followed by a Shlok presentation and explanation by students. Furthermore, there was a short skit presentation, speech and a dance performance on a vandana in sanskrit..
At the end the assembly was addressed by Mr. Chandraprakash where he talked about the origin, application and significance of the language.
06/09/2023 - Janmashtami Celebration
Students from classes VII - IX took to the stage to celebrate the joyous occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The celebration started with a lyrical prayer offering ‘Achyutam Keshavam’ by the choir group, followed by a speech revisiting the life story of Lord Krishna by two students of VI and VIII. Another student presented a self composed poem as her obeisance towards Lord Krishna. Furthermore, the highlight of the day was a beautiful dance performance which culminated in a Dahi Handi ritual, enlivening the gathering.
11/10/2023 - Observing World Mental Health Day (10/10/23)
World Mental Health day was observed in the assembly which started with a short meditation session, followed by the prayer. The students of class VII A, under the guidance of Ms. Ritu Kapur deliberated on the topic of pressure experienced by students through Bhavai, a form of folk theatre popular in Gujarat.
