ATL Highlights  2025-26

 

Science Innovation Exhibition – January 2025

Our young innovators from Sunbeam School Mughalsarai showcased their creativity and scientific temper at the Science Innovation Exhibition held at Sayyadraja National Inter College, Chandauli.

Aayushi Singh (XI-C) presented an AI-Based Security System and won a Consolation Prize.

Aayush Gupta (VII-D) developed a Smart Animal Protection System and received a Consolation Prize.

Adarsh Kumar (VIII-A) impressed with his *IoT-Based Railway Security System, securing the Third Position.

Each participant was awarded a cash prize of 3000 for their innovative efforts and contribution to technological advancement under the **ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) initiative.

ATL Marathon – February 2025

Our students made their mark in the ATL Marathon conducted online in February, where three innovative models from Sunbeam School Mughalsarai were selected for the Idea Pitching Round:

Adarsh Kumar (VIII-A) – IoT-Based Railway Security System

Anant Yadav (VIII-A) – Laser-Based Security System

Afaan Farrooque (X-C) – Smart Helmet System

These promising projects were shortlisted for funding support from NITI Aayog, reflecting the spirit of innovation and problem-solving nurtured under our **Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative.

INSPIRE Manak Award – March

At the District Level INSPIRE Manak Awards held in Chandauli, two of our talented innovators from Sunbeam School Mughalsarai showcased exceptional scientific creativity:

Aayushi Singh (XI-C) – AI-Based Security System

Nishant Jaiswal (IX-C) – Echo Forge to Produce Energy

Both students were honoured with a cash award of 10,000 each, recognizing their innovative ideas and contributions under the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) initiative.

Stanford University – Code in Place

Under the ATL initiative, Rishi Singh successfully completed the prestigious Code in Place program conducted online by Stanford University. The course focused on Python Programming, equipping students with essential coding and problem-solving skills. Rishi received a certificate of completion from Stanford University, marking a proud achievement for our school’s growing community of young innovators.

TechExpo (IIT Guwahati) – Round 2 Result

Students from Sunbeam School Mughalsarai achieved remarkable success in the TechExpo conducted by IIT Guwahati. Participants included Rishi Singh (X-C), Vaibhav Raj (X-E), Aviraj Anand (X-E), Aadarsh Kumar (IX-C), and Janvi (IX-B). Two teams received Golden Certificates and secured positions among the top five finalists out of 1.3 lakh students across India. This outstanding achievement reflects the school’s growing excellence in innovation and technology under the ATL initiative.

Startup Nation Olympiad

Venue: Online

In July, 12 teams registered for the Startup Nation Olympiad. By September, nine teams qualified for Stage 3 – the idea pitching round. Currently, three of these teams hold top positions on the Startup Nation Olympiad platform, ranking 1st, 2nd, and 5th.

The nine qualifying teams are:

ATL ANNUAL REPORT 2023-24

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is Government of India’s flagship initiative to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in our country. The ATL lab in Sunbeam School Mughalsarai is a state-of-the-art space established with a goal to foster curiosity foster curiosi, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc our school has organized various activities and participated in various competitions throughout the year 2023. Some of them are as follows…..

1. EUREKA JUNIORS 2022 @ IIT BOMBAY:-

Two students Shreyansh Gupta and Ajitabh Singh of 8th std got the opportunity to represent Sunbeam School Mughalsarai at IIT BOMBAY at the Semifinals of Eureka juniors 2022. The final result was announced in February 2023 in which both the students got the merit certificate for presenting their ideas..

2. JIGYASA BOOTCAMP 2023

'School to Startups- Igniting Young Minds to Innovate'-the theme for the National Technology Day became the main driving force and Motivation for the celebration of the day @Sunbeam School Mughalsarai.

THE BOOTCAMP "JIGYASA" organized on 11th May included various events like science exhibition, Robo soccer and painting competition on the theme-"India as a nuclear state", TechTalk and Interaction with Young Entrepreneurs of Varanasi..

Professor PV Rajiv (IMS BHU) motivated and guided children in his workshop on Technopreneur.

Then after young Entrepreneur of Varanasi Mr. Shwetang Pathak CEO Agrikaash and his team interacted with students and answered their various queries regarding startups and how to manage a business at ground level..

3. WINNER AT DISTRICT AND ZONAL LEVEL SCIENCE COMPETITION

Various students got selected for science exhibition at District level in March 2023

Adarsh 6th A and Apeksha 9th A got 5th rank for making live accident helper

Aayushi and Ayasha both of 9th A got 4th rank for making landslide detector

Abhishek and Auchitya both of 11thB got 3rd rank for making Blind Mitra

Sudhanshu and Divyanshu both of 11thA got 2nd prize for making Cardio Mitra..

At Divisional/Zonal level also our students got merit position

4. OPTIMISM INITIATIVES @ IIT KHARAGPUR

Three Students namely Amitabh, Ashish and Nishant Jaiswal of 8th standard secured top positions in the online quiz competition of IIT Kharagpur and got a chance to visit the campus for the workshop of 3-D simulation for problem solving and Virtual Reality..

5. BIHAR INNOVATION CHALLENGE:-

Ayush Singh of class 7 A secured 2nd position in Bihar Innovation challenge and won an i-pad on 07th September.9

6. ATL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2023

Around 100 students from class 6th to 12th presented around 50 models on the day of PRM(Parents Review Meeting) on 14th October. The event was organised by different club members. ATL club, Biology club, Physics club, Chemistry club, Computer science club and Mathematics club students presented different models like Health monitoring system, Smart Railway system, Smart irrigation system, Land mines detector, Smart class outpass system, Smart lightning with sound, Magnetic levitation, Self Diagnostic by AI, Eco guard Waste intelligence, Addition on number line by integers and many more.

7. TECHRADIANCE BOOTCAMP

Held on 19th and 20th November, the TECHRADIANCE BOOTCAMP was an exhilarating Workshop and Championship Series Of Harbour Technologies in association With IIT Bombay Techfest. With the theme of "Mini Humanoids " it becomes unforgettable journey into the world of technology, innovation, and creativity where children learned the basic components of the humanoid and then assembled it by themselves and did the programming using embedded C++

8. KREATIVITY LEAGUE

Sarthak Bhagat 6th std, Saurya khatri 8th std, Shafaat 8th std, Krishna Mohan 8th std and Rishi 8th std. Have been selected for the second round of creativity League and will go to IIT Bombay to represent Sunbeam School Mughalsarai in the event
